MEET YOUR PRODUCT SPECIALIST | Doug Schwartz
At Tahoe Wellness Center we strive to provide personalized service, and get to know every customers’ needs to ensure a positive experience with each interaction.
In this light, we’re highlighting the budtenders and employees you know and love, so you can get to know our team a little better and feel that much more at home when visiting us at TWC.
In this edition we chat with Doug Schwartz, one of TWC’s Budtenders, who loves pizza, his dog ‘Hamburger’, and Jetty concentrates
Q: Have you been in Tahoe long? Where were you located before choosing Tahoe?
A: I’m going on 8 years here in Tahoe. I moved here the summer of 2014 from South Carolina to learn to snowboard and live a more laid back lifestyle.
Q: What first brought you to TWC? What has been the best part of working here?
A: What brought me to TWC was the pandemic last year. Like many other locals, I was let go by my employer, which gave me the opportunity to try and get my foot into the industry I love. The best part of working at TWC is helping people. Whether it’s helping someone find relief from insomnia or helping find their next favorite cultivar. Everyday is rewarding in its own way.
Q: What is your favorite product at TWC right now?
A: My favorite product at TWC currently is Jetty concentrates! The peanut butter breath live badder in particular. The flavor is bonkers and the high is like a mellow trip down a river on a tube. Relaxing and smile inducing. 10/10
Q: What does a typical day for you look like outside of TWC?
A: If I’m not at TWC, you can find me at Kiva beach with my girlfriend, on one of the local single tracks, or hanging out with my dog Hamburger at the casa. Typical Tahoe off days.
Q: What is something you couldn’t live without?
A: The one thing I couldn’t live without would be pizza. I honestly live off the stuff. Thin crust, thick crust, deep dish, NY style, and even pineapple. You name it!
With such a large family here at TWC, we’d never be able to focus on just one member! Stay tuned to hear more about your family at Tahoe Wellness Center.
